WORK WHERE YOU ARE PLACED TO WORK FOR HIM
Jesus taught us about the different degrees of fruit bearing, when he spoke of bringing forth some thirty, some sixty, and some a hundredfold. Why? Because although everyone is called to be a witness everyone isn’t called into fulltime ministry.
Fulltime ministry takes a fulltime commitment which should yield fruits to the kingdom in higher degrees than someone who is called to be a witness. Jesus knew humanity because he created human kind, he knew that there are different levels of service and commitment in the kingdom, the Apostle Paul illustrates this through is analogy of the body parts some are more visible because of their particular calling while others are not as visible, but are just as important to the whole of the body. A lay person if you will, may be a wonderful witness for Christ in the work place and in their immediate family and community, but may lack the anointed skills of someone w...hom is called to proclaim the gospel to lost and edify the body as a vocation called and anointed of God.
Each are sold out to God, but their goals, purposes, and anointing vary accordingly and are relative to their place which God has placed them within the body. For instance; a housewife, though she is significant to the body can only function within the body to proportion of her godly commitments to her husband and household. She can be an effective witness within the perimeters which life has stationed her in that capacity, and so on and so forth concerning each individual within the body of Christ. Every individual member of the body of Christ is important to functionality of the whole body and therefore has need of each others existence and particular gifts, anointing, and calling.
As a vessel anointed of God to proclaim the gospel in a public capacity, my goals are for a high yield of souls coming into the kingdom, to edify the body, and as a more visible member of the body in vocation I set a higher standard for myself according to the word of God, to lead by example not by exemption. I labor in the kingdom for a hundredfold yield of fruits to glorify my God and advance his Kingdom among the Kingdoms of men.
