John Wolf When pondering whether God exists, solely from the standpoint of the natural ability to see with ours physical eyes,we must keep in mind that we believe in much simpler concepts, that also do not appear to the naked eye.So disbelieving in God's existence based on vision, can be a deceptive trick of the enemy, that has claimed many atheists in it's trap. To prove my point, let's ponder three things that come to mind: 1.) Air,we inhale and exhale every moment,of every day, never really stopping to think about what it is that we are doing in this process. We intake oxygen, and exhale carbon dioxide.Yet we never see that which we breathe. But we do believe in it don't we? 2.) Wind,we never stop to consider that we can not see the wind.We may say on a blustery day,"oh,look at the wind blowing." But do we really see the wind or just the effects of the wind? 3.) Spirit,we know that there is a part of man's makeup that reveals to us that there is an immaterial part that can not be seen with our eyes. It's how we know we are who we say we are.If we were cut open, would we be able to see this spirit within us? No! But we know it exists, for it is as much a part of us as our physical nature is. So it is with a man's belief in God,you just know down deep in your "knower" that God exists. This what Jesus Christ camme to reveal to us about the New Birth, mentioned in the gospel of John 3:1-21.You can only know God through being Born Again,we can not comprehend God solely from an intellectual standpoint, this is what atheists do not understand.
