CONSIDER THE LILLY’S
I love nature and all the different kinds of landscapes; the mountains, valleys, and dales. I love the different kind of flora which decorates these in the warmer months of the year. The almond and cherry blooms that bring majesty to the desert and cherry blossoms with the soft pink that infatuates the eye! When we consider the beauty of yellow or white Lilly’s which just seamlessly grow. When I consider all the facets of creation it makes my heart glow.
Yet the life of a human seems so much different than them; since humans don’t grow with some kind reason designed by the maker of them.
We push and we shove to have what we know; and trials do come that help us to grow.
When out by myself with no one around, I hear God’s voice which does me astound.
Some days it seems I am grinding through life. The devil comes with vigor and strife.
I feel pressed out of energy and zeal; and living here doesn’t have as much thrill.
But then I consider the Lilly’s and just how they grow.
I consider the Lilly’s then and anxiety goes!
The saints which are already passed on shall be quickened when the trumpet of the catching away shall sound. It is a time of anticipation and expectation of the coming of the Lord and feelings profound.
This is a time to spiritually grow; just the Lilly’s spring break forth from the ground.
The saints that are alive will rise to be crowned.
When I consider the Lilly’s and the beauty it holds and all the spiritual gold.
I ponder the image of my heavenly mold.
Changed in a moment the twinkle of an eye.
To be like Jesus in that heaven abode makes my heart with tenderness cry.
Consider the Lilly’s how they never struggle or toil.
Consider the Lilly’s how majestic; how royal.
