Was it not God who positioned Joseph in Pharaoh’s Kingdom, and put Moses in Pharaoh’s House, who put Esther in a position to deliver her people, and made Daniel a third Ruler in Babylonia. Please quit telling me God is not interested in getting Godly people involved in politics. Where ever you find yourself in the world, you are first and foremost subject to God, then subject to the laws of the land that do not oppose the laws of God. The Kingdom that is coming is not here yet, until then we must occupy this present world submitting to the just laws of mankind, while obeying the righteous laws of God.
(11) Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
(12) Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
(13) Submit yourselves to e...very ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
(14) Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
(15) For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 1 Peter 2:11-15 KJV
I was told earlier all about myself by a person that doesn’t know me from Adam. I was told I want to shove my crosses and hymnals down people’s throats. That I don’t care about the people who need Christ the most. All because I do not like the present administration’s policies concerning marriage, the advocacy of fornication, the blight of the murders mills it supports, and its distain for Israel, and pretty much its stance against the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, particularly the First Amendment. But like most angry people, this person said I was pointing my finger in the wrong direction, I was told I want an America which is more an Iran only with the red, white, and blue. The question I responded to was should we look at the Presidential race from a God, man, or both point of view.
An honest question, but if your answer is just God, does that mean you are not voting?
Because if it is just up to God, why even talk about it or concern yourself with it, and why even make any statements at all about it, and why vote? Why did God give us a mind, if we don’t have any responsibility. If we are not called to be agents of positive and moral change, then why bother yourself or become agitated or angry. Just wondering…. Apostle Ray Ritchie “ I approve of this message “.
