Ignorance can only be defeated by injecting truth into the market place of ideas. Unfortunately today many have been dumbed down by lies and it has caused division and confusion. Once a person receives something as truth it is hard to reconcile them back to the truth whether it is philosophical, political, or religious. Yet with God all things are possible and those of us who know that all truth has its genesis in God should not give up so easily when it comes to proclaiming the truth and reality of the consequences of believing a lie. We should be informed and equipped with the facts of the matter in which we engage! If we say we love our neighbor as we love ourselves; shouldn’t we be vocal when it comes to misconceptions, politics that destroy, and false religion that is damnable to the practitioner. Jesus said to those who followed him: (31) Therefore, Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, "If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. (32) And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." John 8:31-32 Brethren, how can we follow he who is the way, the truth, and the life; and then don’t believe his very words? I believe his truth sets us free; because I have been set free by that truth being applied to my life. Those that are not in his truth are in the darkness of this world and we have a responsibility to shine the light of his truth into the world. Therefore we must study to show ourselves approved to God and be ready to give an answer for the hope which is in us; which is Christ Jesus the Lord. Selah Y’all Bishop D.
