Prejudice & Sin:
I love you whether you are yellow, red, brown, black, or even white, if I don’t agree with you, it is not prejudice, it’s a disagreement. I just don’t understand why people see disagreement as hate! Many of us don’t always agree with our spouses, our children, our parents etc. etc. but we don’t call it hate when we disagree. No; we call it a disagreement and either agree to disagree and go on or work it out.
True Christians are not prejudice against skin color, and would never use it as a means to demean, undermine, or denigrate someone. True Christians realize they’re on a journey through this life learning how to walk in righteousness, cleansing themselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of God through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
...
Just as righteousness does not discriminate against a person’s skin color, sin does not care about what color the skin of a person is that it dominates. My bible teaches that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but concludes Christ died for all.
The bible teaches us that to be like Christ is to hate sin, because it is sin that destroyed the union between God and man, yes Christ came to bridge the gap, and he alone is the way to God and restoration. When we are born again, we receive the divine nature within the context of our new nature. That new nature reflects the nature of God toward sin. The bible clearly delineates the line in the sand, it clearly defines that God is clear when it comes to sin, He hates it and if we have His nature, our new nature should hate sin as well.
As a Christian I am not prejudice against anyone’s skin color, but if I am truly a Christian, I am prejudice against sin, no matter whom its perpetrator or what color their skin is. Just as those who try to sound so egalitarian when it comes to religion, saying we should respect other religions, but those very religions are either doctrines of demons to deceive mankind or the sinful attempts of the carnal concepts of mankind to bridge the gap between them and God. Either way they’re sins against God and our new nature and we should righteously hate them just like any other deceptive sins.
Morality based upon the morals of men is going to be flawed and fall short of the glory of God, there is a perfect law of liberty which is found within the pages of our bibles. If we study earnestly we will find what is defined as sin and what is defined as righteousness according to God’s standard, He will help to abstain from sin; sustain us with His righteousness.
