It’s Time for Revival
Satan is rising up against the Anointed of the Lord! Yes, I am happy, yes, I am in fairly good health, yes I have a roof over my head, food, and clothing… But that doesn’t mean the enemy has left me or any of God’s Anointed along. We are in a constant state of spiritual warfare… the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, if it weren’t for the mercies of the Lord we would all be consumed.
America, we are in the midst of a siege against us, globalism is becoming the paradigm for a new world order. The love for Christ and true Christian ethics is growing cold, while the false prophets keep sounding the trumpet of Peace, Safety, and Kingdom Now theology.
As I was praying this morning the thought came to me that many are so lukewarm they don’t even realize it. I thought about Daniel’s prophecy concerning the advancement of knowledge and its ability to go global or as he put it “ run to and throw “. Yes many within the church are not looking for the return of Christ but instead for prosperity. I am not against being prosperous, I am not jealous of anyone who is, but I do not live to be materially or financially prosperous, I live to be spiritually prosperous first and foremost.
Jesus rebuked, yes “ rebuked “ the Pharisees because they could discern the course of weather, but not the sign of the times “ his coming to them “. It is much the same today with many leaders, they can discern what’s going on in the natural, but are not accurately discerning the prophetic times in which we are living. Preaching massaging messages that soothes sin instead of provocative messages that alert a lukewarm church of her need to repent and be resuscitated.
Yes there are people out there preaching the truth, but they are getting fewer and fewer, because of the lukewarm mentality that is prevalent in the body right now. The church needs revival, real revival, not a bunch of hollering, jumping up and down, running the aisles, but deep seeded renewal in the heart of hearts. One that produces witnesses of righteous not just in the church house, but in the house at home, and on the street and in the market place. One that produces joy unspeakable full of glory.
Its time to pray like we’ve never prayed before! Its time to get serious about unrepentant sins, its time to get right in God’s sight, and take the fight to the devil, its time to be on the offense instead of the defense.
