Christ’s Birthday Celebration:
Here’s wishing you all a wonderful Christ’s Birthday Celebration! It is my hope that you are enriched spiritually during this time, and refreshed in your faith in Christ’s finished work on the Cross of Calvary.
Wendy and won’t be able to be with any family this year and miss their physical presence in our lives. But this is a time of year when God chose to highlight the significance of family and the how important one life in a womb can be to the whole of mankind.
He showed us how important the struggle of doing all we can to stay together in a marriage, and the importance of a godly upbringing for our children. You see the birth of Christ is about the story of mankind too, its redemption, it destiny, and God’s love for his creation. He shows us that the path to honor is through the sojourn of humility, and that even the poorest among us can achieve great things when we put our trust in Him.
The story of Jesus in human terms is about a Carpenter who became the King. A story about the physical and emotional toils one endures on the road to our destiny, about not only the success, but the trials, the temptations, the persecutions and the will to overcome every obstacle to obtain the goals of life.
The story of Jesus shows us how tender life can be, the relationships which are forged in the heat of afflictions, and the bonds of endearment which are formed in the course engaging and embracing who we are and the maturity to face the problems of life making the hard choices.
The story of Jesus is about the reality of how frail our beginnings and how dependent we are on those who have the responsibility of our upbringing, their duty to serve and protect us while we grow into what God has called us to be in Him. It shows the vulnerability of every individual in their infancy no matter what providence holds for them.
Jesus’ life is the perfect example of the nurture and admonition of a loving family and the dynamics involved in training up a child in the way they should go. His life represents the success of a life well lived, one with purpose, one with struggles, one of reality, and one that obtained the prize. The Story of Jesus then in a sense is the story of humanity.
Brethren keep the faith today by living by the example the birth and life of Christ. He is the Way, the Life, and the Truth.
Shalom & Agape Y’all!
