John Wolf Calvary's Cross Ministries Preaching Christ Crucified From the pastor's desk....
Hi to all in the name of Jesus.May your day be filled with love, joy, peace, meekness, kindness, patience, hope and faith! ... I have a few questions that I would like to pose to you the fine people of Forumland.I would really like to hear some good responses from you,the people.I'm doing research on the subject of the "Positive Confession Movement",better known as the "Blab It And Grab It" or "Name It And Claim It"
Is it Scriptural to always attempt to be positive in all you do and say? Is it even possible,to always be positive without being negative,in all you do and say?One last question; Is faith, true Bible faith, and being positive just two words to describe the same thing?
Please,if you respond to the questions, simply state your understanding and the Scriptures for your position.
It is my contention (argument, understanding) that if you always try to be positive and never speak anything negative,is it even possible to proclaim the true gospel of Jesus Christ? I don't think it is possible.
Is it enough to just repeat the words of one well known motivational speaker,"This is my Bible.I am what it says I am.I have what it says I have." without ever opening and studying it to appropriate it's blessings? In other words; If I confess it enough times, without really knowing it for myself, will my positive confession result in realizing any of the benefits of the Bible?
Thank you so much for your responses.I look forward to seeing what's in store!.................God bless you all......bro.John.
