Compassion & Concern are not Fear or Whining!
Christians around the world are sought out to be harassed, persecuted, tortured, and killed for their faith. Don’t be naïve enough to think it can’t happen here, one girl was killed in the United State in Colorado just because she would not deny her faith in God. Its easy to sit and say that God is our protection, but the truth comes down to if its his sovereign will, as long as God has a purpose for our lives, he will keep us alive, but not necessarily safe.
Anyone who has been in a few places like I have, knows that if all we do is praise the Lord and sit around back slapping blessings on each other, knows that when Christians are inactive concerning our world; they may be in for rude awakening, this is not by any means heaven, people die on earth everyday and a lot of them are Christians who have been killed for their faith. When we sit around doing nothing when we have the means and knowledge to change things. If I die trying Praise the Lord! And by the way I praise the Lord with my life not just my words! Amen!
Is our attitude suppose to be like Cain’s when he spitefully replied to God “ Am I my brother’s keeper “? There are many within the Christian camp who deny their responsibility to their fellow man of whom many are suffering afflictions, poverty, illiteracy, injustices, tyranny, and most importantly spiritual death.
Many are so caught up in the selfishness of their own sought after blessings, it is thorn in their side to mention anything that effects the lives of others, because somehow it burst the little bubble they’re living in.
I don’t call sounding the alarm an action of fear but to the contrary compassion in action. Why? Because I trust in the Lord, but there are many who still don’t know Jesus and the powers of darkness are working to isolate and insolate people in a false spirituality that has their own best interest as first and foremost in their lives.
Myself I look at an anemic Christianity that is materialistic and carnal in its goals. American Christians don’t know the hardships many Christians suffer in other countries, under Anti-Christian regimes, we don’t have the fear that if we lead someone to Christ it will cost us our property, livelihood, and sometimes our lives, at least not of today.
We here in the United States are blessed but not to take liberty for granted or as occasion for the flesh.
Only the immature could Praise the Lord while the world is going to hell, myself I am going to Praise the Lord because he loves those in the world, because God doesn’t take pleasure in the death of sinners, atrocities, or injustices, and I don’t either.
Brethren keep the Faith by being Spirit Filled Activist for a resurgence of a Moral Mentality that leads the way to a true conversion to Christ, that many might be born again and be able to live eternity in the bliss of the Joy of the Lord. If Christians don’t love their neighbor enough to help change what they can while they can, what good are they. Strong Christians and strong churches are the backbone of a good moral society.
Don’t mistake being naïve as being spiritual. Why? Because true spirituality is not naïve! Amen!
Come on lets mature in this thing, and get the right perspective.
