A Well of Wealth
“ Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” from James 4:8
Find a person’s treasure and there you will find their heart, what is in one’s heart is usually manifested by words and deeds. What we pursue in life is usually what we truly love in life. If there is a vacuum concerning God’s presence in one’s life, its because they’re not pursuing God. God promises us if we diligently seek him, we will find him.
The best place to find God’s presence is in a place of prayer and praise. When we praise him, he loves our worship when its done in Spirit and Truth, then when pray to him, he hears us and will speak to us in our spirit and express his love, give us liberty and life which is filled with the abundance of his joy. We find rest when we reside in him, we find purpose when we reside in him, we find contentment when we reside in him.
He is our wellspring of wealth, but we must first come to the well. Jesus said "Push out into deep water, and let down your nets for a haul." If we desire the wealth of the Word, the wealth of the Spirit, and the abundant life of God residing within us, we must push out into deeper waters where our nets can expand to receive a more abundant catch. God is infinite, his well is bottomless, his wisdom is wondrous and can only be found in the depths of his presence. Aim high and reap richly the manifold blessings of God.
(33) But make His Kingdom and righteousness your chief aim, and then these things shall all be given you in addition.
(34) Do not be over anxious, therefore, about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own cares. Enough for each day are its own troubles. Matthew 6:33-34 WNT
We never have to worry about our God being at variance, because he ever remains the same. He is approachable, attainable, and available to all who seek him, his kingdom, and his righteousness. He is the only perfect one who loves perfectly and who blesses righteously.
(17) Every gift which is good, and every perfect boon, is from above, and comes down from the Father, who is the source of all Light. In Him there is no variation nor the slightest suggestion of change.
James 1:17 WNT
Draw near to him and he will draw near to you. If you are feeling empty, maybe you should consider your relationship with the Heavenly Father.
