The Great Sequestration:
Today we have those who want to sequester the truth. The inalienable right to speak the truth by sequester is an infringement upon Christians today, almost every culture, philosophy, and science whether it is good, bad, or indifferent is given free reign while eternal truth is being pigeonholed for sequestration by an immoral majority.
When a Christian does speak concerning their frustration concerning these aggravated assaults upon our God and way of life by an ever increasing domineering regime, they are considered narcissistic instead of loving and caring for their brethren, and their inalienable right to serve God in Spirit and Truth.
It is most unfortunate that some of the worst offenders against the truth are within the ranks of Christendom. Let us think back to some of our civil rights leaders, who stood defiantly against the atrocities of racism, not with rhetorical jargon but with intellectual acumen and non-violent action. Their rebuttals were not filled with hate filled rage; but compassionate heart felt dialogue that demanded a response to their injustice.
Why is it when we disagree with the powers that be, we are automatically labeled “ haters”. Would those who walked hand in hand with Martin Luther King Jr. call him a hater, or a lover. I dare say that those people would have defined him as a man of conscience, a man of concern, and a man aware of a very real injustice, a man with an imperative to change perception by molding and modeling a perspective., namely a Christian response.
The core of his being was Christ centered love and respect for all mankind not a prejudiced preference for his particular race. Love was the motive, peaceful demonstration was the method, and equality was the aim. Only those who were flawed by their own prejudice, their own sense of superiority, and fear of losing social status were threatened by his actions. Those who opposed his agenda to establish equality were the real haters.
Therefore to speak truth concerning the injustice to silence the gospel no matter what power may be the culprit or entity that opposes it, is not hatred it is a defense, a peaceful protest, and a duty to stand up and expose them so the truth prevails against them.
It is not hate to disagree, one can pray for someone in which they disagree while at the same time openly oppose them. What I feel and can back up with scripture is that God is in fact in every facet of life, and we as Christians should infiltrate those facets of life that can influence people with the truth. Not a tainted truth that has been compromised by the philosophies of this world but the uncompromising truth of the gospel which changes the hearts of people who are blinded by Satan, Sin, and Sanctimony.
We cannot afford to parade around in the carnality of the world, we are called to challenge the chicanery that presents itself as the way, the life, and the truth no matter where that chicanery is coming from whether it is in Politics, Public School, Social Networks, Community, or in Church.
