IT’S TRUE!
If you are still doing everything that you did before you accepted Christ as your Savior, it’s a pretty sure thing you didn’t accept Him, because those who have received Christ as Savior, have also received him as Lord. You are not resurrected in your sins, you are resurrected from your sins, that they no longer have dominion over you, but the Sprit of the Life of Liberty has full reign to guide you and lead you into all truth.
(12) And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
(13) Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
(14) And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
(15) This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
(16) Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
(17) Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:12-17 KJV
Resurrection Power is power to change the very essence of our nature of who we were into the very essence of his nature to be like he is! One who loves righteousness and hates iniquity, one who loves the sinner but hates the sinning, one who separates themselves spiritually but dwells among those who perpetuate carnality, one who shines as a light in the darkness. One who is a witness through self denial and self sacrifice by not doing their own will but by doing the will of the Father, by being a of witness of his word living itself out through their lives expressions.
New Life is the theme of Resurrection Life, not a life that passes away, but a life that passes into the eternal presence of God. Resurrection Life is life filled with love, peace, joy, and abundant righteousness. Resurrection is fulfilling not draining, exciting not dull, glorious not appalling, it is a life that leads to life and when lived according to the purpose of God, leads others to the same life. One only has to come to Jesus and give him everything.
(28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
(30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
Would you be free from your burden of sin, there’s power at the Cross of Christ for you. Would you know the power of resurrection, that powers in the Cross for you! Would you be changed and be born again, there’s power in the blood that strained the old rugged cross, power to make you brand new, power to change the deepest of sins, there’s power in Christ’s love for you. It’s True! Receive it, Believe it, Confess it, and Live it.
