GUARD THE ANOINTING: BECAUSE THE ANOINTING GUARDS YOU!
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18 -19
We need to guard the Anointing of God in our lives because the Anointing is an agent of instruction, discernment, and provision. The product of the Anointing is Spiritual Sight which equals to enlightenment which will bring enlargement into our lives.. When we guard the Anointing the Anointing guards us.
With the will of God there will be transformation, the revelation of God which is his revealed will for our lives instructs us how to obtain our transformation. With transition comes opposition, because transition is often a place of pressure, but opposition is also a sign you’re doing the will of God. Many times satanic opposition can come through human vessels.
Pressure’s motive is to produce a veil of obscurity that allows confusion to produce it’s fruit of doubt and unbelief concerning the call of God. When pressure produces a sense of perplexity, our focus can become random then cannot produce anything lasting or permanent in our lives.
Satan uses strategies to pressure us out of the will of God. If we do not guard the Anointing in our lives we can be tempted, deceived, or persuaded out of the will and purpose of God.
WHEN THINGS GET TIGHT DON’T LOSE SIGHT
“ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. Romans 8:28
The dynamic of the Anointing teaches us the truth of God’s word. Truth empowers us to be dynamic and victorious in life.
“ Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Isaiah 28:9,10
Success in spiritual life comes in degrees because knowledge comes in degrees. When we establish our faith He can establish His will. Therefore we cannot afford to be double minded.
“For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. “ James 1:7 - 8
A DOUBLE MIND LEADS TO COMPROMISE & COMPROMISE ALWAYS LEADS TO LOSS
1. Loss of His Presence 2. Loss of His Promises 3. Loss of our Privileges
There are many ploys of the enemy to bring us into a faltering waivering state of mind. Because the adversary knows that a double mind cannot have single focus. Broken focus equals frustrated faith which is the result of not guarding the Anointing.
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27
Brethren keep the faith by guarding the anointing which God has endowed you with, which equips you for every good work and has the essence of his presence to make you influential and spiritually successful.
