TALENT ( What are you doing with Yours )
(14) For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
(15) And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey……………………………….........
(19) After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
(20) And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
(21) His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25:14- 15 &19-21 KJV
Talent: ( Talanton ) tal'-an-ton (to bear; equivalent to; a balance (as supporting weights), that is, (by implication) a certain weight (and thence a coin or rather sum of money) or “talent”: - talent.
Every day is a gift that God has blessed us with, does God want you to prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. Many today don’t believe that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his children, and doesn’t want them to have good health, but only that their souls prosper.
If Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly, is that just as our souls prosper? Or does it compass every area of our lives? The character of God is examined in the Old Testament where it was said, that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.
So; does God really want his children dirt poor, and diseased, does he take joy in our pain and lack? Why, in some people’s mind is it a sin to have enough wealth to make life enjoyable and to believe that God can heal a diseased body? I cannot understand this kind of thinking, some people act like it is a sin to desire to prosper and be in good health, even though many of those who have these desires; have put God first in their lives and are blessed in this life because of it.
Why do I say this; because many of those people whom are experiencing prosperity share their abundance in tithes, offerings, and giving to charitable organizations. They are people who put their money where their mouth is when it comes to walking the walk. They are blessed and do not take their abundance for granted, they are healthy and do not take their health for granted, they give thanks to the God of all Creation and are willing to lay it all down to do his will, because their money and health is not their God, but gifts from God to increase the kingdom and kingdom kindness to those in need and those doing the work of God in Spirit and Truth.
Many people are seldom balanced ( talanton ) or looking for balance and become lopsided in their approach to the Principles, Precepts, and Protocols of the Kingdom of God. The truly spiritual among us love God first and foremost above all things physical or corporeal, they understand how God’s gifts enable them to be an agent of God in a dark world that is in need of a Savior. They learn to use those gifts to their advantage in propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ.
(24) Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
(25) And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
(26) His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
(27) Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
(28) Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
(29) For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
(30) And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:24-30 KJV
Too many today do bow at the altar of materialism, and worship those things above the one made them. But does not preclude the fact that there are those who understand these things are gifts to be used like tools to accomplish God’s objectives upon the earth, those people will be blessed in the Kingdom to Come because they were wise stewards of the gifts, talents, and callings which were entrusted to them for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Brethren; keep the faith by increasing the talent ( balances ) God has given you. You will blessed as your practice the principles and progress duty the process. This has been a Faith Fact from a Faith Perspective.
