THE TRIVIAL MARRIAGE MENTALITY OF MODERNITY
(4) Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 KJV
Marriage is sacred to God who was who commenced it’s institution, What many in modernity do not comprehend because they are taught that it is an institution of the State is that God himself presided over the first marriage and instituted it to between one man & one woman, Jesus taught this when he was in Israel during his earthly administration.
(6) But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
(7) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
(8) And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
(9) What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Mark 10:6-9 KJV
Today marriage is not even considered the importance it once had in the world as a sacred union between a man and a woman, it is thought of more as a union which affords financial benefits and if it was not for the fact of the financial benefit many in the world would not even bother with the formalities involved in uniting in a marital bond and many don’t.
Many do not have enough true integrity to love the institution as one of the stabilizing elements of a strong moral society. Therefore fornication and adultery is rampant because men and women are incontinent when its comes to their sexual urges then fulfilling them by practicing immorality and infidelity.
(9) Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals,

The unfortunate reality is this mindset has filtered into the body of Christ and has turned the hearts of many into fornicators and adulterers. Because they have allowed the influence of the world to degrade their resolve concerning this sacred institution of God.
This is why we have fornicators living in their sins, sitting in the pew without any conviction or remorse, but to the contrary they are emboldened to keep practicing their offences in the name of modernity or the false premise of grace covers all their sins whether they’re blatant or hidden.
We have ministers in pulpits marrying people into unholy unions and giving more false validity to these abominations and flagrant offenses against God and his Word. People are in key positions which should only be used for those qualified to fill them according to biblical doctrine.
But many still willfully sin in lifestyles of lying, fornicating, infidelity, and yes homosexuality. All while thinking they will go to heaven because they have given mental accent to the reality of God and pronounced a superficial prayer. Not really adhering to the Word of God or the God of the Word. Biblical Marriage is honorable and sex inside that marriage is undefiled. But:
(4) Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
James 4:4 MKJV
You see God has given us the way to live our lives according to his will in his word. It is not a life of fulfilling the carnal sexual urges and preferences of our old nature, but it is to guide us in the new life of the new nature he has given us through our rebirth. In the world sex sells, and has become the major driving force in our societies.
Today in our societies we have an abundance pf Abortion, Sexual Transmitted Diseases, and Perversity all due to the influx of sex being put into the minds of masses by a sex crazed media, aggressive porn, and entertainment industries. With perverse, immoral, and adulterous role models becoming the ambassadors of the revolution of raunchiness.
Many men and women in churches around the world excuse themselves of their own incontinency ( the ability to control ones urges ) with statements like “ I have to have someone, I wasn’t built to be alone”. or “ my spouse won’t or can’t give me sex so I have to look else where “ or “ they did it to me some fair is fair “ or “ God made me this way I have tried but I just can’t quit doing it or thinking about “. Also when one crafts a stack of lies to perpetrate a divorce to marry someone else, they go into the next relationship as an adulterer.
A marriage is not biblical when one or both the spouses participate in the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes concerning desiring others outside that marriage bond. If one or both participate in lusting for strange flesh it is adultery. Jesus said “ If a man looks on a women to lust after her, he has committed adultery in his heart already with her “. No one can say they’re practicing their marriage vows while actively engaging in adultery whether it be physical or fantasy. Sin is sin….
None of these excuses will be justified at the time of the judgment, the only thing that will save these people is whole hearted repentance and living according to God’s work. One cannot undo the past but they can change the present and thereby the future.
(5) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
(6) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
(7) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
(8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:5-8 KJV
Brethren keep the faith by practicing the sacredness of fidelity in marriage and abstinence in singleness, set no evil or lustful thing before your eyes, and let the meditation of your heart and the words of your mouth be seasoned to be acceptable to our God. Remember, God is All Knowing, All Seeing, and Ever Present. Be an overcomer and become and stay a child of the Most High God.
