WHY NOT?!
(15) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
(16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:15-16 KJV
Why not yield our lives to Christ? There is nothing in the world worth the wages of sin. Many are trials, tribulations, and persecutions of the righteous, there are many conflicts which befall the person sold out to Christ. The contrast between eternal life and death is the acceptance of ourselves as worthy of death through our sins, and following that revelation with repentance.
Why go through all the conflicts of this life for the pleasures of sin and then die and face eternal judgment? It’s may be a simple message with a simple solution, but; God so loved the world that he sent his Son, that whosoever believes on him and turns from their sins in whole hearted repentance shall receive the gift of salvation or eternal life.
Why not receive the fullness of joy, why not have peace that passes our comprehension, why not have love for our neighbor, why not have sweet communion with the Holy Spirit and the people of God. Salvation is deeper than just the benefits of this present existence, it is more profound than the simple actions for repentance and confession, it is a lifestyle of enjoying the presence of God whether we are in a building of worship or we are all alone in the stillness of ourselves, God never leaves us or forsakes us. He is an ever present help in time of need.
Brethren keep the Faith today by setting a course for the presence of God, find that place of solitude and serenity in Him, and find the solutions to all your dilemmas, find the strength you need to face another day, find the joy you need to be anxious for nothing. And you will find that your faith is growing with each passing day. While you are at it, tell someone about the goodness of the Lord and how precious he has been to you. O yeah! Why Not?!
