FEAR & FAITH
(9) He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
(10) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Psalms 111:9-10 KJV
Remember the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, not just reverential fear, but whole hearted fear, for it is a fearful thing to be in the hands of an angry God. Just keep living without the fear of God and one day you will stand in his judgment and give an account of your fearless lifestyle that thumbed your nose in his face. God is the Judge and we are accountable first and foremost to him.
Although it may be true that none of us can live a flawless life, that doesn’t give us permission to live a willfully sinful life either. Therefore examine yourselves without self favored bias, but by the word of God to see if you are walking in the perfect law of liberty, or if you are walking by the perverted law of the flesh. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into all truth as we persist on following His lead and keep our eyes upon the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus! We will effectively build faith.
(4) For every child of God overcomes the world; and the victorious principle which has overcome the world is our faith. 1st John 5:4 WNT
If we are honest, we all face different aspects of weaknesses that are part of the old nature which does not want to die. It always seems to resurface at the very times we are doing the greatest in our service to God. But if we will be consistent in looking to God for the strength he guide us to victory and we shall overcome and sit with the overcomers in heaven and be given authority to reign in righteousness for eternity with him..
(25) Only that which you already possess, cling to until I come.
(26) "'And to him who overcomes and obeys My commands to the very end, I will give authority over the nations of the earth. Revelation 2:25-26 WNT
