Romans 9:6-9
KJV(i)6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. 9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
6 Well then, has God failed to fulfill his promises to the Jews? No! For these promises are only to those who are truly Jews.* And not everyone born into a Jewish family is truly a Jew! 7 Just the fact that they come from Abraham doesn’t make them truly Abraham’s children. For the Scriptures say that the promises apply only to Abraham’s son Isaac and Isaac’s descendants, though Abraham had other children too. 8 This means that not all of Abraham’s children are children of God, but only those who believe the promise of salvation which he made to Abraham. 9 For God had promised, “Next year I will give you and Sarah a son.”

6 The Word remains true; we are just unable as sinners to keep the word. Israel is always Israel.
7 Being children of Abraham does not give as much blessings as being followers of Christ. They Jewish people are descended from man but, we as believers are inherited by our faith thru His grace.
8 The Jews were given the Messiah thru their promise but all were able to accept Him as Lord now those Jews that accept Him are still bound to their commitment to the law, keep their blessings that come with it but by Jesus we all find grace. Those who never were commented to the law are not bound to it but, only are promised blessings to come.
9 God promised a son by Sarah and this son was Isaac but Jesus also came from Sarah’s children as well. It is by Isaac that the line of Christ goes thru and it is thru him the promises of God are answered.
