ANXIOUS?
Feeling alarmed only causes anxiety, and the tension of the weight of the world. It is only when we put our trust in Jesus that we will be at ease emotionally and learn how to calmly and collectively process the peace that settles our souls.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and therefore rules over the peace of mind that we can possess through allowing him to possess our thoughts, by casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the will of God and by learning the art of taking those thoughts captive and incarcerating them and then throwing away the keys.
For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2nd Timothy 1:7
Within every true believer there is a latent power we can tap into for a supernatural supply of strength to stand against the onslaught of the thoughts which try to bombard us with the burdensome thoughts of anxiety trying to diminish our peace therefore effecting our soundness in decision making. Why? Things done under the pressure of anxiousness often result in ineffectiveness or loss.
But we have good news, we have been given power from on high to direct us; through the ability to be calm with a serenity of the soul, the power of divine love to overcome the attacks of the enemy by those around us, and a supernatural soundness to make wise decisions based upon direct communication with our Heavenly Father.
Brethren, keep the Faith today:
(6) Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
(7) And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Remember God is our portion, and He shall supply our every need! Trust Him everyday along this earthly way, Selah!
Shalom & Agape!
