Does anyone here use reading plans to get through the bible. Some people don't like them and others like me do.......
We have one on this forum on the left hand of the screen titled 'READINGS'. If you don't use them what is your preferred way of studying the bible?

I have used them and find them to be useful. Currently, I am using the YouVersion app. The app has a myriad of studies and devotions.
In addition, I have a sheet that lists the books of the Bible with boxes for each chapter. I am using that as a no pressure means to read through my new Bible.

That's a good idea as it's not always easy to maintain daily fixed plans. My other like too is that some sites such as biblegateway.com have the option to have a audible version. Before Tom Dooley died I use to listen to the daily plan read by him.
Here is a recording of one of his readings titled 'The Word of Life ( John Chapter 1 Verses 1 - 34 ).mpg'
