I read a lot more than I post. I do enjoy reading the posts. I come, hat in hand, for prayer once again. I worked the suicide of a teen last week. Its been pretty hard. Need prayer, not just for me, but the family and the EMS crew that I work with. Anyways, if I don't get back to my keyboard before Friday, Merry CHRISTmas to one and all.

So good to hear from you arete. We do think of you and pray for you too. I'm so pleased that you are able to find some time just to recharge with some great messages here on Friends of Jesus. Indeed we will pray for you and all mentioned above. Have a great Christmas as well.......

Doing much better. Took awhile to process the death. Worked two stabbings last week. EMS can be a wild ride.
Christmas was great. Now I'm looking forward to MacArthur's Shepherd's Conference in March.

Wow what a month
Monday evening, I worked a motor vehicle collision. One of my fellow medics was struck and killed. I was first on scene to work on him. I had to give notification to his sister who came upon the scene. It was where their driveway met the highway. She's also a fellow medic. The family are all believers. Got a debrief with the dept Thurs morning.
We're working out the details to lead his funeral procession with state troopers and our own engines and ambulances.
It's going to be a rough time.
