LOVE & HATE
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. (1 John 4:7-11 KJV) Love is Powerful, hatred is too! One constructs through proper encouragement, instruction, and interaction, the other destroys through instigation, devaluation, and isolation. Building bridges and inroads is the strategy of love, burning bridges and destroying inroads is the strategy of hatred. The love of human kind is void of the capacity to love without prejudice, which is an attribute of carnality. Agape or Divine Love is deposited within everyone who receives Christ who enables us to love without the limitations of our humanness, and stretch ourselves beyond what we could even ask or think according to that power of divine love. Selah! Shalom, Agape, & Amen! D.R. Ritchie
