Good day to you all in the Holy name of Jesus Christ,the righteous and soon coming King of kings and Lord of lords........Amen Jude 3 says," Beloved while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common (mutual) salvation.I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend (fight,war,do battle,c...ontend) earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints." There are many today in the christian world who have laid down the weapon of our warfare and have taken up the white flag of surrender to the world.They may be saying "what's the use in trying,no body is listening anyway?" Well, let me be one voice who will say,shame on those who have given up!We must never give up and surrender to the whims of popular opinion or new fads that are inundating christianity today.These are all just attacks of the enemy,who is doing all he can in his final hours to discourage the saints of the Most High! Hebrews 12:4 says," You have not yet resisted to bloodshed,striving against sin." Our Lord and Saviour,Jesus Christ gave His all to see us saved,so that we may have His all in eternity.Do you suppose it too much to ask us to fight for the truth of His word.We are soldiers in a war for our souls.No one ever said that it was going to be easy,fun,without toils and snares and trouble on every side.Warfare is never fun or easy,and what's more,there will always be casualties!Some will resist to the end of their natural life here fighting for the right to enter in to the joy of the Lord,and others will lay down the fight and give up.Just as some of the disciples of the Lord walked away from Him because His sayings were to hard for them.It was going to cost them more than they were willing to pay to follow Him.In the end they lost their soul.How much has it cost them now? Do I ever feel like giving up and throwing in the towel?Do I ever get discouraged?Do I ever get depressed and struggle to stay faithful?Of course I do,I'm just like you,I fight the same things that we all fight,the enemy of our soul.I pray daily,Lord help me to stay faithful.We must through many trials and tribulations enter the Kingdom of God (Acts 14:22). The same way that Jesus fought the devil is the same way we are going to have to fight.With the word of God and faith in His strength and power not our own.No,it's not easy at times to share with you some of the posts that I put up here on FB.I know ahead of time that many times it will rub people the wrong way.It is not my intent to hurt the feelings of anyone,but,there are times when truth is spoken,it will without doubt offend someone,somewhere.That's just the way it is.It is my intent to stir ourselves up to continue the fight for righteousness and truth.I'm sure that there is someone out there who may be able to do a better job of delivering the messages than I,but please never doubt my love for your soul.We all fight the same fight and the same battles,but,Jesus has already won the war. As we draw closer to the return of Christ for His church,wickedness is going to increase,it is going to get harder and harder for true christians to live in this dying world.But we hold the cure in our hearts for this dying world,we can not give up.We must fight the good fight of faith,and lay hold of eternal life.Share the word with all you can,being led by the Spirit,and we will be victorious......I love you all in Christ..........God bless.......JW....P.S. please read Revelation 21:7-8.
