Good day, blessed of the Lord!God loves you more than you know.Continue fighting the enemy with faith in Christ and love for our fellow human beings.It's the only thing that is going to set the captives free! Hebrews 4:12-13 says," For the word of God is living and powerful,and sharper than any two-edged sword,pierc...ing even to the division of the soul and spirit,and of the joints and marrow,and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.And there is no creature hidden from His sight,but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account." If you have ever wondered why,when you are reading the word or listening to someone deliver a message from the word,you feel conviction over what is spoken,it's because the word of God is alive with power.It has the ability to seperate between the soul and the spirit of man.The soul is the seat of our emotions and the spirit is the seat of our intellect.There is a difference,just as there is a difference between our bones and the marrow that is in the bones.God has given us the written word to tell us about the Living Word,Jesus Christ. If we yield our spirit to the word of God and the Holy Spirit,we will continue to grow in the grace and the knowledge of God,and we will experience the abundant life spoken of in John 10:10.We MUST allow it to conform and transform our minds and our way of living.Why must we do this?Because verse thirteen says we MUST give an account to Him who sees all we do,and we must live according to His word,in order to give a good account.No,none of us are perfected yet,and yes,we will from time to time fail miserably,but that's why we have the priviledge and the right to go to God in the Name of Jesus,confess our failure and our sin and be forgiven and cleansed.Never make the mistake of believing that you are automatically forgiven for sin without confession and repentence.I John 1:9 says," IF we confess our sins,he will be faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Yes,our sins,past,present and future were dealt with at the cross,but that does not relieve us of our responsibility to confess and forsake them when we commit them. The fact that the word of God will bring conviction to the hearts of people who live contrary to the word,even those who say they are christian,could be the very reason why so many will not read it.Think of it like this:Many will not go to the doctor or take medication because they may find out something they all ready know,that they are sick.The word of God is medication for our sin sick soul,and in order for us to be made well,we must not only study it,but,allow it to make us well,too!This could very well be the reason why so many are misled into false teaching, because they do not read it for themselves. Conviction from the word is good,that's how the Spirit of God works in us,to transform us into the image of Christ.Condemnation comes from the enemy and unbelief according to John 3:16-21.Read the word,study the word,conform your life to the word and in the end you will not be ashamed.God Bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ..............Amen...........JW
