EGO CENTRIST SOCIETY
Receiving Christ is wonderful, there are many benefits which accompany salvation. One of those benefits is a restoration of the love of self, for now we possess the ability to love ourselves with a godly perspective. With a newness of heart that is based upon the love of God for us, and the ability to not live in a state of constant self condemnation, but to the contrary a state of restoration. It is a product of what the love of Christ accomplishes in and through us. Therefore we are enabled to “ love thy neighbor as thyself “ keeping the new commandment of the two most important commandments to “ love God with all thy heart, mind, body, and strength “ hence being empowered to love others because we now love ourselves as well.
One of the warnings or revelations of the last of the last days is “ men shall be lovers of themselves more than lovers of God “. Today everyone seems to be in competition for the attention of others for the purpose of self aggrandizement because of the egotistical mindset of this present age. There is by and enlarge a narcissistic plague which is affecting mankind through the onslaught of doctrines of demons. I am of course talking about what is happening not only in the world but also in the church world as well. There is an all out unhealthy, ungodly obsession with self in this age.
Many today are focused upon the unfairness and injustices which effect them personally and join the vanguard of protestors becoming fixated upon their personal victimization. Yelling the mantra “ what about me “. Hence finding themselves in conflicts of minority against minority and all turning against the so-called majority. Causing more of the thing which they sought to point out as an injustice or unfairness toward them; hence more conflict. The bible teaches us to be content within because of the overall temporaries of this present age.
Self focus and giving into the indulges of the flesh lead to compromises that are deteriorating instead of fortifying faith. Our focus as Christians is to be fixated upon Christ and following his example. We love ourselves in order to love others properly through reaching out to them with the love of Christ. I feel Christians are just as guilty as the world in regards to joining ungodly self focused movements or groups and focusing upon their particular ethnicities or racial genealogies and the unfairness and injustices they suffer, falling away from the true purposes of their born again experience and calling out to do the work of the Kingdom of God.
Now let’s look at those whom are at the other end of the spectrum which are egotistical gluttons; whom strive on the attention of others. Those whom have insatiable desires for the things of this world, its wealth, its fame, and its attention under the guise of Christianity.
The wealth of this world will pass away with the fame of this world, those who are so -called superstars of Christian notoriety are actually gluttons for the money they can hoax out of others for the purpose of living a life of leisure, while those they claim to be helping are still stuck in lives of desperation. One day God will judge those who have taken the widow’s mites in pretense of promising them prosperity they will never while they themselves continue to grow richer. These are no more the egotistical narcissistic self absorbed liars whom are truly just concerned for their own wealth and health, self deceived deceivers deceiving others by their unbiblical teachings.
(12) So then let him who thinks he is standing securely beware of falling. 1st Corinthians 10:12
Brethren let us keep the faith by being the essence of who Christ is, who came to give his life as a ransom for others, ministry is not above benefiting ourselves by lusting after the wealth of this world but by using what we have to touch, change, and enhance the lives of those whom are impoverished. Serving is not about me, but about we working together for the same purpose.
(3) The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
(4) Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
(5) For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
(6) The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
(7) Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
(8) The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted. Psalms 12:3-8 KJV
Brethren, follow Christ our Lord, for judgment falls upon those who serve themselves in the guise of helping others. Keep the faith and the Faith will keep You! Selah!
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
