GIFTS AND CALLING
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:29 KJV
God never changes his sovereign will concerning his gifts and calling concerning Israel or the Gentile Ecclesia, whom God calls he anoints, gifts, and appoints to fulfill his will for his purposes he reveals these through his Spirit.
(10) But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
(11) For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
(12) But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.
(13) These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(14) But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(15) But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one.
(16) For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1st Corinthians 2:10-16 MKJV
I want you to understand that God gave it to you, it’s yours, its your responsibility. Claim it, possess it, and you will lead others to Christ! If God called you to be a minister use those gifts you possess to touch lives in a fashion that gets the job done. Because we are led by the Spirit to reach others through servitude utilizing our time, talents, and treasures in the pursuit of lost souls and edification the body.
(19) Though free from all human control, I have made myself the slave of all in the hope of winning as many converts as possible.
(20) To the Jews I have become like a Jew in order to win Jews; to men under the Law as if I were under the Law--although I am not--in order to win those who are under the Law;
(21) to men without Law as if I were without Law--although I am not without Law in relation to God but am abiding in Christ's Law--in order to win those who are without Law.
(22) To the weak I have become weak, so as to gain the weak. To all men I have become all things, in the hope that in every one of these ways I may save some.
(23) And I do everything for the sake of the Good News, that I may share with my hearers in its benefits. 1st Corinthians 9:19-23 WNT
Notice how Paul uses personal pronouns to describe the calling upon his life and pronouns to describe the calling upon others lives. If you exhume Christ through your unique personality to touch, change, and enhance the lives of others, you are being a physical representation of what Christ can do through a yielded vessel.
(10) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2nd Peter 1:10 KJV
Give due diligence to your calling, perfect it through performing it, by being transformed by the renewing of your mind so that your heart is open to the unction of the Holy Spirit. We need a daily dose of the unction of the Lord to guide us in the paths of righteousness. Our spiritual walk is predicated by our relationship with God. No relationship equates to no spiritual growth, therefore it is a must that we continue in fellowship with the Father of our Faith, Yahweh God.
(1) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
(2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
(3) Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
(4) There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
(5) One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
(6) One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
(7) But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:1-7 KJV
Brethren keep the faith today by laying a hold of the horns of the altar and praying through till you get a breakthrough, by receiving who you are called to be in Christ and embracing your calling. There is a thief that comes to steal, kill, and destroy us, but Jesus came to give us a life that is full of fulfillment with an abundance of joy. When we embrace our calling we are embracing who we are and strengthen our resolve against the fiery darts of the wicked. We become conquerors by claiming and taking possession of the anointing, the gifts, and the calling God has charged and endowed us with. Selah!
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
