NEWNESS!
Let me say that I love you with the love of Christ, you are a part of me and I am a part of you; the wonderful body of Christ. Your actions positively and in adversely effect me because we are one in Christ and Christ is one in us. We are members individual but in a holy union of oneness of Spirit, the Holy Spirit of God. We are Family, brothers and sisters whom God has called to be unified in Him. Our book of life is the Holy Bible and our Creed is the Doctrines of the Ecclesia ( Body of Christ ) the Church Triumph! The body is going through constant transformation, always changing always growing, with the dead branches being pruned and gathered for the fire.
There are many today whom form their own doctrines and cause division, this inhabits the effectiveness of the body of Christ to be accepted by the general populace of the world. Why? Because when sinners see a divided body which in effect looks dysfunctional it effects them negatively. Christ is the Living Word whom was made flesh to be an example then a vicarious sacrifice for the sins of the world. At this point it was not about Christ himself, but about building a bridge of redemption for the lost to be reconnected to the Heavenly Father. “ For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but should have everlasting life “.
Please understand salvation was about a lost humanity whom needed propitiation ( the satisfying of God’s wrath ) for our sins. Jesus the Living Word became that Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. When he died upon Calvary’s Cross his last words to God were “ It is finished “ and he gave up the ghost or died; then resurrected from dead of the body and our sins could be forgiven to anyone who believed this in their heart and confessed it verbally. Salvation was more than Jesus dying on the cross, more than Jesus raising from the dead, it was about you and me; wretched sinners worthy of hellfire and damnation who God loved so much that he planned our redemption through the sacrifice of his son. Redemption is about Restoration, about Reconciliation, and about the Birth of a New Creation in Christ, through Christ, and for the purposes of Christ while we live our lives in the Spirit of the Renewing of our minds.
God focused his love, mercy, and grace upon us so we can focus our love, worship, and faith upon Him. We are a Spirit which has a Soul, which lives in a fleshly Body. Let us remember some of the guidelines of the new man.
(15) See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
(16) Rejoice evermore.
(17) Pray without ceasing.
(18) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
(19) Quench not the Spirit.
(20) Despise not prophesyings.
(21) Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
(22) Abstain from all appearance of evil.
(23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(24) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 1st Thessalonians 5:15-24 KJV
In all God’s Creation we are blessed to be created in his image and in his likeness, in the newness of the spirit and now through the death, burial, and resurrection of Chris we are redeemed if we repent and turn to God in earnest of heart and sincere godly sorrow of sin. We do not live any longer by the law of the flesh but by the perfect law of liberty in Christ Jesus.
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. (Romans 7:6 KJV)
Jesus came to unite and to divide, to unite his called out ones, and to divide the tares from the wheat, the to call out the elect whom would truly follow and obey him to glory and to expose the hypocrites who use and abuse him for their own purposes. He came to seek and save the lost, preach the gospel, heal the sick and broken hearted, restore sight to the blind, deliver the captives, and to liberate those who are crushed. We are called to fulfill these mandates of the gospel call according to each one’s personal ability. Let us remember this in our commission:
(1) Therefore laying aside all malice and all guile and hypocrisies and envyings, and all evil speakings,
(2) desire the sincere milk of the Word, as newborn babes, so that you may grow by it;
(3) if truly you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 1 Peter 2:1-3 MKJV
Brethren keep the faith today by seeking out those special gifts which have been infused into you at your rebirth for the advancement of the Kingdom and the Edification of the Body of Christ. Let us be One in Spirit, in One Accord, and in One Purpose to the Glory of God. Selah!
