He is Alive! He is alive! He's not dead,but He's alive!
... John 20:25-29;Acts1:11.....
"The other disciples said to him (Thomas),we have seen the Lord.So he (Thomas) said to them 'Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails and,and put my finger into the print of the nails,and put my hand into His side,I will not believe.".......And so it is with so many.In all of human history,there has never been a more controversial subject as the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.No matter how much, we as Christians, try to convince unbelievers of the resurrection,there will always be those who refuse,as Thomas did,the fact of the matter......However.....Thank God....We have this assurance from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself in verse 29 of John 20....."Jesus said to him,Thomas,because you have seen Me you have believed." Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Acts 1:11- ".......this same Jesus,who was taken up from you into heaven,will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven"......... So now we have the witness of two very obvious angels sent by God from heaven to comfort the disciples upon the ascension of Christ.They said this SAME Jesus was coming back in like manner as He left.Hallelujah! Hallelujah! He's not only alive,but He's coming back too!
Let the atheists and the cultists deny the physical,bodily resurrection.Let them mock and curse His wonderful name.Let them say all manner of evil against Him and His followers.Let them despise us and persecute us and treat us as inferior and worthless people,not fit to live.He is coming back one day,and when that day arrives there will be many who will wish that they had believed our report.It is just as the prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 53:1...."Who has believed our report,and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?..."
By comparison,the number of believers in Jesus Christ around the world,compared those who refuse to submit to the King of kings and the Lord of lords,is very small.And as each passing day moves into history the number grows smaller.Take heart my brothers and sisters in Christ,He is coming soon,don't give up,keep on keeping on.We shall reap the reward if we hold fast to His promise.As for the skeptics,atheists,cultists and just plain rank unbelievers,Jesus said...." wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction (Hell),and many there be that go in thereat.But straight is the way and narrow is the gate that leads to life (heaven),and few there be who find it."
God will allow you to choose any path you like.You can go your way (the broad way),or you can go His way (the narrow way).It's totally up to you.However you need to know that if you end up in Hell,it won't be God's fault,it will be yours,you chose the path.
There is room in heaven for everyone who has ever lived or will ever live.God is a big God and the place He has prepared for those who will trust Him is a big place.However,the bridge that spans the gulf of destruction is a very narrow bridge,it allows safe passage for all,it's sturdy enough for time and eternity to carry all who will travel it,but it is only a one lane bridge,wide enough for one person at a time.That bridge is the Cross of Jesus Christ.He is the only bridge to eternal life.All other bridges are out,they have been destroyed.If you choose any of the other bridges,you will meet with certain doom.Choose wisely my friends.
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ seals forever the only path to life.He paid the price.He trod the wine press of the wrath of God.He took the wrath of God for you,if you refuse Him,you are asking for God to pour out His wrath on you.I know that to talk this way offends many,I know that people want to be told how wonderful and beautiful and perfect they are,but that is just how deceptive the devil is.He will put multitudes of people in front of you to tickle your ears,while all the while you are headed for hell.Turn around now,while there is still time.
You can trust the Biblical account of the resurrection.Will you accept Him today? He is waiting patiently for your decision.......Thank you and may God bless you all.....JW
