DREAM ON?
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)
I never want to be found weighed in the balance of God and found wanting. People don’t truly want the word of God anymore; they love their watered down versions, and the so-called spiritual movements that leaves them in the same condition they were before they went of a carnal-lized spiritual binge. It is those whom are never satisfied with the explicit, the explainable and the attainable spiritual principles which are set plainly before their eyes in the bible.
Many times they’re looking for a new move or a new thing and all they really need is for new man to be the new man and crucify the old man daily. So many have forgotten the spiritual experience of the new birth and allowed manmade religion to rob them of that first love and how it so dynamically and radically changed their lives.
Daily digestion of the word of God renews, refreshes, and revives us when we consume it with the intention of applying it to our lives. The fruit of Spirit will manifest in those consume their source and pray for understanding and guidance. Manmade religion robs us of the substance we need, false spiritual binges leave us emptier than fulfilled, and they misguide us and cause us to stray from the path that God intended for us. But God put something in each of us, it’s called potential which can be defined as “not yet in existence but capable of being”.
God didn’t call us to chase spiritual fads that fade then become dust in the wind; or a false spiritual movement that does not anchor us in Christ, but is only a wind of doctrine used cunningly to deceive and then dissipates leaving confusion and instability in its wake. God holds all the knowledge we need within the pages of his holy word, but he can also speak specifically to us as we seek his face in prayer if we have the patience or the forbearance to pursue his wisdom. He exhorts us through holy writ to call upon him; he gives us the example of a prophet named Jeremiah and shows he has a listening ear. He was angry with Israel for straying away and falling into iniquity, he is angry with a Church that strays away to embrace worldliness and false religion, He the Lord God Omnipotent says “call unto ME, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things you do not know”.
Jeremiah is then shown that God has hidden his face from his people; but if they returned to him he would cure and restore Israel.
6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. Jeremiah 33:6-9 (KJV)
Brethren let us return to God and put away those things that offend, God is full of mercy, but his rod chastens the child he loves, he beckons us back to the fold so that he may forgive us, restore us, heal us, and bless us. When we walk in the balance of biblically principled spirituality our first love is renewed and we sense all the joy of our salvation.
Brethren keep the faith today by trying the spirits to see whether they’re of God or not, for everyone who says Lord, Lord, will not enter the Kingdom of God. When a new thing appears making sure it is biblically unscored and ask God to give you discernment concerning it. Never participate in a bunch of junk that only serves to burden you with a yoke of oppression, for his yoke is easy and his burden is light. Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
