Numbers 19:18-19 King James Version (KJV)
18 And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
19 And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
Numbers 19:18-19 Expanded Bible (EXB)
18 A clean person must take a hyssop branch and dip it into the water, and then he must sprinkle it over the tent and all its objects. He must also sprinkle the people who were there, as well as anyone who touched a bone, or the body of someone who was killed, or a dead person, or a grave.19 The person who is clean must sprinkle this water on the unclean people on the third day and on the seventh day. On the seventh day they will •become clean [be purified]. They must wash their clothes and take a bath, and they will be clean that evening.

18 So a clean person has to become unclean to fix the problem of uncleanness, they have to make a self sacrifice for the people. Jesus being clean had to make Himself as a sacrifice for us to make us clean.
19 The person who makes the sacrifice is not unclean but only for part of a day because of them looking out for another if the people weren’t willing to do this then everyone would eventually be unclean. The clean person sticks with the unclean person, Jesus sticks with us and never leaves us.
