Ezra 6:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6 Now therefore, Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shetharboznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which are beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.

6 The king does not want them to get involved in any way other then send the tax money there; they would have most likely wanted to stop the work.
7 Sometimes we may want to help people but we can’t we have to watch them do the work they are called to do.
