Hi everyone and a belated 'Happy New Year' to everyone here. It's been awhile since posting in this part of the forum but we have brought some new changes for the ever growing 'Friends of Jesus'.
To date, Our forum is now reaching out to 108 different countries around the world and we have around 150+ visitors a day coming through reading the various boards. This is a great blessing to us seeing the word of God reaching out to the many who need his word in their hearts! Up to now, 'Friends of Jesus' really has only been ministering to the adult community and with on a few occasions tried various attempts to start a youth version; it was clear at the time, it was simply not God's will. However, very recently, a great brother in Christ has joined us (Gator) and shared with me that through his teaching group, they would like something hosted here for them. So this weekend we will be launching a new area for the teenage age group 'Christian Youth Zone' - If you have any 13+ age group that you would like to learn more of God's word then please do encourage them to join us. If you have any questions regarding this then please PM me or Gator who will only be too pleased to help!
Our Clark continues to be a great blessing here as he continues in the adult section sharing his thoughts, and much of the other shares will continue as normal.
Please keep praying for us as we continue to seek God's direction to serve him!

Thanks for forming a Kids group on the forum Les. I look forward to helping in this area as much as I can.
A little bit about me. I'm a retired power engineer who also had a U-pick orchard in central Alberta Canada. Currently, I'm retired and teach Grades 5-8 in our small community church. I am also teaching in our Wednesday night Kids Club which is a gathering of the preschool to Grade 6 kids. Many of the children who come to this program are secular kids from the neighbourhood. Eventually, we also see some of their [ formerly ] atheistic parents coming to church on a routine basis.
I put so much focus on kids because I truly believe that they are the future and we had better get them trained BEFORE the evilutionists get them in their high school classrooms. I also realize that some of these kids do have many unanswered questions and they remain unanswered because people just don't take the time to care.
So! Bring on the kids.

Fancy that, we are currently watching a documentary series 'Highway through Hell' which is a large vehicle recovery program that was manly filmed in Alberta....
I think it's really great that you are now spending your time with the youngsters encouraging them to come to know the Lord in a true way. I think Children can be great witnesses to parents and through God, he can do the impossible. In full agreement with you and Amen 'Bring on the Kids!'

Don't take that program too much to heart Les. We are not all that bad. Really! We're not. That program is filmed in the worst locations and the worst weather conditions. And I sometimes think that those producers "pad the parts" to make it look more dramatic than it is. Overall, Alberta's a pretty nice place to live.
