Numbers 20:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.
7 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

6 When we come to the presence of the Lord He shows thru us, His light shines thru us. We are to go to the presence of the Lord and in that He changes us and people should see that change.
7 God gave word to Moses thru scripture we have God’s word but God will also speak thru the Holy Spirit thru prayer thru other people but if we are listening God will speak to us.
8 So he was to speak to the rock, this is key we listen to God’s instructions to obey them. God was going to provide them water. God meets our needs.
