Acts 9:32-35 King James Version (KJV)
32 And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
Acts 9:32-35 New King James Version (NKJV)
Aeneas Healed
32 Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda. 33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. 34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately. 35 So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

32 So Peter came to the believers. Peter was traveling around which he would have been sharing the gospel as he went.
33 Due to this being eight years it most likely was caused by a sickness or injury but he wasn’t born this way, he would have remembered a day where he once could have walked.
34 This is very similar to Jesus healing the lame man, Jesus now thru Peter heals this man. Jesus thru the church still can heal people today.
35 This not only changed that man’s life but people who saw it came to the Lord. We don’t know what all that the Lord may use in our lives for others to be drawn to Him but as Christians we are to be influences to bring others to Jesus.
