Acts 10:5-6 King James Version (KJV)
5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
Acts 10:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Now send men to Joppa, and send for Simon whose surname is Peter. 6 He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do.”

5 He was told speak to the man who was around that knew Jesus the best, he was told where Peter was so that he could send men so that he could talk to him. How much effort do we put into talking to people to grow in the Lord? How much time is our talk about the things of God?
6 Peter would have felt at home by the sea being a fisherman. God just kept using Peter, God wants to keep using us but we have to be willing to do the things He wants of us that we don’t want to do, Peter was willing to do whatever the Lord needed of Him, we are to do likewise.
