22 And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.
2 And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites.
3 And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.

22 The Israelis continued their travels, eventually encamping on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River opposite Jericho. 2 Zippor’s son Balak saw everything that Israel had done to the Amorites. 3 As a result, Moab greatly feared the people, because they were so numerous. Because a sense of impending doom was afflicting the Moabites as they faced the Israelis,

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
1 So they are just at the border of the land they would take.
2 They conquered the Amorites, these were people who didn’t have a place to stay but they won the battle. With God we win the battle.
3 Moab feared Israel but it was because of their numbers, Israel’s strength wasn’t in their number but from the Lord. The world may see something in us that they see as our strength but their view should never change our knowing our strength is God. While there is strength in numbers, true strength only comes from the Lord.
