Acts 11:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
Acts 11:22-23 International Standard Version (ISV)
22 When the church in Jerusalem heard this news, they sent Barnabas all the way to Antioch. 23 When he arrived, he rejoiced to see what the grace of God had done, and with hearty determination he kept encouraging all of them to remain faithful to the Lord,

22 So Barnabas was sent out, we see him later working with Paul and being a missionary. Often times serving God starts with small things and then they move with us doing big things by and for the Lord.
23 Barnabas gave encouragement to them for them to move with the Lord for the purpose of the gospel. We need to be encouragers and sometimes we need someone like Barnabas in our life.
