LIFE THOUGHT
This is a wonderful day regardless of the mayhem that surrounds us! I did some heavy duty weeping repenting for my failure to serve God with all my heart, soul, body, and strength. The little foxes of compromise add up to one big failure. I personally believe we can all seek to serve the Lord to a greater capacity. Why? I don’t know one person who has arrived at the apex of their spirituality.
Ask yourself! What can I do to serve God more; where am I concerning my spiritual maturity; how can I be more effective in doing God’s will for my life? Then be honest with yourself about where you are and where you should be spiritually.
Brethren, life can be defined by the purpose which God called us to. Paul by penury inspiration of the Holy One scribed:
(28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
We have all been called; yet not everyone is called to pulpit ministry but everyone is called to minister Christ in word, action, and deed. We have become the bondservants of Christ; yet God calls the majority of people to stand in the position they were at when they received Christ as redeemer and Lord of their lives.
(17) Only, as the Lord has distributed to each man, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies.
(18) Was anyone called having been circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? Let him not be circumcised.
(19) Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
(20) Let each man stay in that calling in which he was called.
(21) Were you called being a bondservant? Don’t let that bother you, but if you get an opportunity to become free, use it.
(22) For he who was called in the Lord being a bondservant is the Lord’s free man. Likewise he who was called being free is Christ’s bondservant.
(23) You were bought with a price. Don’t become bondservants of men.
(24) Brothers, let each man, in whatever condition he was called, stay in that condition with God. 1st Corinthians 7:17-24
1. God appoints every person to the station and condition in life according to his will.
2. God called them in it to benefit kingdom purposes.
3. God requires each one to faithfully fulfil the duties associated with it.
4. God allows of no exception unless being compliant is sinful.
Brethren, we are all equally important in the eyes of God; if one receives Christ they must also receive the will, purpose, duties, and responsibilities of that reception; hence we are called many times where God finds our lives and become the counterpart against the sin that indwells the lost in that station or condition of life. When we model Christ and his principles and are given opportunity to impart the gospel into that atmosphere we are fulfilling the calling of that condition. The human experience is about living the divine impartation of his divine nature in the presence of a lost generation. We in effect become the catalyst of change through realizing that if God is in our lives our lives have his purpose and that nothing we are going through is by chance or happenstance.
(28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
May the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob bless you abundantly today through his only begotten Son; the Lord Jesus Christ! Be spiritually thoughtful, be graciously thankful, and be purposely thematic! Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
