Acts 12:3-4 King James Version (KJV) 3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
Acts 12:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. 4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover.

3 This means it is during Passover Week, the same week in which Jesus died for our sins. Peter maybe reminded of Jesus dying for him, and maybe glad to die for Him.
4 The Jews also intended to bring Jesus to death after Passover but it didnt last but for Peter and the church Passover had a new meaning because of Jesus.
