A TESTIMONY
“ I am confident of this one thing, that He who has began a good work in me will complete it until the day of Messiah Yeshua ( Christ Jesus ) and because of this I have you in my heart, both while in my chains of this body, and in the defense and also the confirmation of the gospel, believing you will be a partaker of the grace of God with me.” My Paraphrase of Philippians I:6-7
I am confident in my God, those that have known me over the years know that I am a man of faith. One friend who I tried to lead to the Lord many years ago, told me a few years later, Dana you live and breathe Jesus. I wish I could have led him to the Lord, but; he seen the faith that I lived.
I have been ridiculed, back bitten, eight balled, and ostracized by more people and preachers that I care to try to count. But, I have literally seen thousands, not hundreds, but thousands receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through our ministry, I am not trying to brag like a Pharisee, but there is something about connecting to people wherever I go to preach, teach, and demonstrate the gospel. God has touched so many with a healing touch, I have cast out demons and seen the peace and calm that comes upon a delivered person.
I try to be innovative when it comes to presenting the gospel. I try not to offend anyone, but many times end up doing it anyway. But: I try to live what I preach, and love those that are unlovable or unlikable, I try to reach the out cast and the down trodden, I give those who are shone by society the time of day. I love people: this is what God has put in me. Have I been perfect throughout all this? By no means, so I am not coming with this; in a sanctimonious way? Again by no means.
I love loving people because Jesus showed me he loved me in my worse state of life. He loved me when my mind was reprobate concerning God and godliness. When I was worthy of hellfire he moved upon me with the His Holy Spirit to convict me of my sins and convince me he was my salvation, my sanctification, and solution for all that pulled me down! He is my glory and the lifter of my head! We are the created of God; created in his likeness, created; in his image.
The bible teaches us that we receive Jesus as not only Savior; but also Lord. So many think they have been saved just because they thoughtlessly confessed a few words, or their Dad, Mom, or Grandparents, are Christians or just because they are born in America.
Jesus firmly stated that one must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Before one can be born again they must repent of their crimes or sins against God, ask Him to forgive them, and then wholeheartedly and firmly state that Jesus came in the flesh, died on the cross, and was resurrected the third day, then follow Jesus in baptism and ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit. For without the Spirit of Messiah we are not his children.
After sixteen years of drugs addiction and every evil things which it entails being totally absorbed in the lust to get high and live the culture of rock & roll, and being filled with prejudice and hatred, I was wondrously and gloriously saved from my sins or crimes against the Holy Father. I was set free, delivered by the power of the Holy Ghost and Fire, and baptized with a Fire that propels me to go preach the gospel. I was changed from a rebel to a revivalist by the power of the grace of God.
If you know Jesus in Spirit and Truth, I know you’ve got a testimony too! If you don’t know Jesus, why don’t you consider turning to him now by turning away from your sins. Ask him to come into your heart and to save you from your sins, and believe in your own heart; the gospel of grace, which was secured for you through the shed blood of a crucified, then risen Lord and Savior. You will be eternally grateful that you did.
