A CALL TO REFORMATION THROUGH PERSONAL REVIVAL
(12) Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
(13) Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men. Hosea 10:12-13
It’s true we’re living in the era of a great falling away from the faith that was delivered to the saints at the incarnation and ministerial proclamation of Jesus our Christ. In the book of Hosea we can align the history of Israel’s falling away into Idolatry and the building of images that provoked the anger of God against them. Today’s modern church system is diametrically in opposition to the way God sanctioned it to operate within this era. Just as the Ten Tribes of Israel embraced the abominable and detestable in God’s sight the present so-called church has followed suit. Yet there is a remnant which has not fallen away and is clinging to the transforming words of truth which were penned to parchment for the edification and advancement of the gospel and kingdom of God.
(12) Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints. Hosea 11:12
Ephraim and Israel represent the Ten Tribes which had fallen away during this period in the history of Israel as a people and nation. Judah was separate and kept themselves sanctified and honorable in their worship and duties to God and his word. The judgment of God is always preceded by the hardened hearts of his people; a heart of stone is hard to penetrate and takes harsh chastisement to turn the heart tender again toward a forgiving and redeeming God.
Sow to yourselves in righteousness; or repent for your immoral conduct! The seed sown is repentance which believes for the reaping of mercy. Holy Ghost conviction that is needed and heeded will produce the bountiful fruit of mercy. Break up your fallow ground; the ground which used to yield righteousness which has been lying dormant and is in need of the plough again. Get your prayer plough out to break away the hardness of heart to sow the seeds of confession and repentance with earnest expectation of an outpouring rain of righteousness.
Brethren there are a remnant of believers which are holding steadfast and true to the unchanging truth of God’s word. Those who hear and heed the call of God to daily sacrificial living for Christ; and are witnesses through the indwelling enabling power of the Holy Ghost! We are living in apocalyptic times and even here in the United States of America we are witnessing about half of the nation standing up for those things which are abominable and detestable to God. Especially when many who call themselves Christian advocate for such things as abortion, same sex marriage, and unjust laws which bind people to reign and rule of an ever more corrupted government that no longer represents the people. We are living in apocalyptic times when a so-called mainline denomination calls Lucifer the Messiah. We are living in great times of peril when our children are subjugated to the indoctrination of sexual perversion; and when a religion which berates women and uses violent measures even to the pain of death to make converts. When people vote in the vial candidates who oppose the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who hate the nation of Israel are bent on its destruction and hate Christ and true Christianity! Yes we are living in apocalyptic times and there should be a push by God’s people to see the reformation of the Church. It starts with each individual who has allowed the enemy or life’s trials harden their hearts.
(9) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
(10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:9-10
It’s really simple; it’s time to turn or burn. It’s time to break up the fallow ground for many today. God promises to empower us and give us a life worth living in the now and for eternity. It’s time to stand up not stand down! We are at war with the devil and his minions. God says he will give us power to conquer the forces of evil in our personal lives and win the peace of God which passes all our understanding.
(19) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
(20) Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:19-20
God through personal revival will give us a commission with a position of authority. He has blown the trump of reformation through personal transformation. Let us examine ourselves thoroughly to see if we are in fact walking in the faith! It will be worthwhile to be refreshed, renewed, and revived to walk in the anointing you are called to walk in. Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
