OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES
(45) A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:45
(3) My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. Psalm 49:3
Out of the mouths of babes, He revealed them to babes, and a child shall lead them are all from different scriptures and contexts; yet in the midst of those verses is the reality that it is the simple childlike faith of a novice that sometimes is gifted with wisdom beyond their years. Observation and memorization can enhance the mental capacity to develop spiritual insight into complexed knowledge and dynamics.
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7
To many times those who are well informed and have years of experience undermine and marginalize their youthful protégé’s. Yes for the most part wisdom based upon years of experience cannot be taken lightly; but many times God raises up prodigies that out shined those who’ve grown cold and crass concerning anyone’s opinion but their own. Sometimes the wisest among us can become out of touch, insensitive, and lose insight because they’re not open to another view. The wisest among us is usually the most humble among us; because they’re not closed mind or high minded. Let us humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God that he may lift us up at the right time. Humbleness is a part of the fruit of the Spirit. Wisdom flows from humility. Selah
