YET; PERSPECTIVE!
The sun doesn’t chase away the moon; neither does it move in upward motion; nor the stars which decorate the sky on cloudless clear dark nights. Yet from our perspective looking upward and onward; if we greet the morning the sun does appear to rise and even in the day dawning we sometimes see the moon in the western horizon sinking it would seem.
Yet I’ve seen to my amazement the monstrous billows floating on the winds as I look upon a dry and desert plain; the winds wisping in a whirlwind and dust dancing on the field. I’ve seen the mountain rains come swooping down in dark thunderous clouds where lightening clads the sky. I’ve witness the rush of hail falling from the heavens in the hotness of the day. Yet; it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve seen the rain falling as the sun would make it glow; an array of seven colors to make a pretty bow. I’ve seen the shifting of sand in the desert high and gullies made by rain as the waters flow. Yet; it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I stood on the side of a mountain and seen a canyon grand and how majestic formations were sculptured by waters coursing as they go. I felt the power of the rubble of the earth quaking under my feet; and looked down from airbuses flying through the wind. Yet; it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve walked through the fields of abundance where stocks of corn topped with golden tassels were reaching for the sky and in patches of ripened red raspberries with thorns to prick the skin. I’ve reached up to pluck an apple from a fruitful bough and enjoyed an ice cold watermelon in the summer heat. Yet; it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve seen the waves come crashing against the crags of a rough terrain shore; I’ve seen dolphins playing in deep blue waters by the score. I’ve seen the ocean so still it looked like glass; I’ve seen wind driven waves so high I feared the night would not pass. Yet; it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve lain in green pastures of a swaying grassy knoll; feeling the gentle breath of warm winds a comfort to my soul. I’ve peered out across the woodlands admiring the tallest of the pines; I’ve plucked the sweetest grapes from healthy bursting vines. I’ve listened to the crickets and cracklings of burning embers lighting up a night; I’ve enjoyed the rustling of the leaves as if they’re in a fight. Yet; it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve held a lovely new bride with tender loving care and received her sweet invigorating kisses to my heart’s delight. I’ve experienced years of pleasure living with her in my sight; while building years for reminiscing to make my spirit bright. I’ve cherished many moments in this life of mine; I’ve had many disappointments having all entwine. Yet: it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve seen the plumb faces and laughter of children while they play and the sweet courtship of couples in my day. I sat at many picnics with a variety of food displayed and enjoyed wonderful company of friends both young and grey. I’ve been to many countries; I’ve seen the sights and sound. I experienced the beauty of those peoples my heart it does astound. Yet it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve felt the loving touch of my first newborn son; and remember the warmth in my heart of his first steps having so much fun.
I’ve felt the anguish of heartache of my passing Dad; but remember all his love and wisdom that makes my heart so glad. I’ve felt the parting sorrow of a leaving friend; but then my lips would form a smile knowing I would see them again.
Yet it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
I’ve reflected on simple pleasures because I know that they’re the best; I thought on these simple pleasure they give me godly rest. Yet though my perspective is from standing here below; only God can give me solace in these things I know. He is the Creator to whom I owe my all; when I think of all his glory I know I am so small. Yet; it’s all from a perspective of standing here below.
God sits high above; if he wills he can ride the wings of the wind; if he wills he inhabits the rays of the sun.
I’ve experience the salvation of my coming King and lambast in his Spirit the things of eternal bliss.
I am human now; but one day I shall be singing with the angels the most glorious worship songs! There is nothing; there is no one who can compare to his Awe! He is Holy, Holy, Holy as the seraphim sing; He is Holy, Holy, Holy, I know him as my King. Yet; for now it’s all from a perspective of standing here below. Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
