Praise to the King that loves his people!
Brethren there are many times we fail God in our lives due to misguidance and intentions of others we trust. We spend time in the prayer closet to find God’s direction; then allow someone to influence us and then we override what we heard in the prayer closet. There are those who truly love us and think their counsel is of the Lord and there are those who do not truly love us and purpose to misguide us. We interact with many people and pastors as ministers! Myself I seek to align myself with pastors of integrity and godly virtue whose hearts are to please God and to preach and teach truth to the degree of understanding that they possess.
The truth is sometimes we get involved with people we believe have those qualities and then by experience find that their lives are anything but integral. When we use the biblical pattern to confront them in love they often show their true colors through rebellion or turn to accuse. This has happened often during the course of my ministry because I choose to keep trusting people until they give me cause not to trust them or if God gives me discernment about them.
It used to be hard to break off a relationship with someone that I came to care for and especially if we worked together in the gospel. Now I find it much easier to break off; because I want to please the Lord. If someone is involved in a blatant sin and will not be advised or repent it is time to move on and serve God. The Lord knows how to deal with such people and by putting too much time and effort into them whom are bent on their own destruction we are adverted from our duties to continue on in the ministry.
I have stood behind the pulpit and rebuked several leaders whose intentions were their own; whose eyes were on their own enrichment instead of the ministry. I have stood behind the pulpit; I’ve looked the guilty ones straight in the face as the charges of their sins were exposed. There are those who lie and disrupt; they plot and they plan and they subvert. They think that gain is godliness and deceive themselves to get it while they destroy the structure that God has inspired! Needless to say: these were purged from the ministry. There are those whom spread vicious lies to attack and destroy the character of a person because of his or her integrity. God will deal with them appropriately and in due season they shall receive their reward; this doesn’t give me pleasure; for I would have loved to have been able to work with such talented people; yet they chose to use their God given talents to their own lusts.
Brethren God is calling and choosing men and woman to the ministry which includes the virtues of holiness. He is calling his people back to the standard of righteousness. Men and women: who will yield their members in obedience unto righteousness! There are many who are in part time capacity whom he is calling to full time capacity; he wants them in full service mode for the purpose of being more effective and spreading the borders of their influence. One who is yoked to two masters cannot serve both to their fullest potential.
Everyone is a witness; not everyone is called to pulpit, evangelistic, and missionary ministry. Brethren and especially my ministerial brethren: I exhort you to walk in the virtue, the integrity, the love, the anointing, and the power of the resurrection; not having a form of godliness and denying the power of God to transform; but walking in the fullness of the stature of Christ deny ungodly lusts! The world is looking for solutions and the anti-christ is setting the stage to deceive them; if we walk in the perfect will of God we will see a harvest of souls that will be rapture ready for the coming of the Lord is nigh! Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
