The Inescapable Corruption of Sin (Selected Scriptures)
We live in a post-modern era where any absolute truth is being denied. You’ve heard plenty about that; we’ve spoken about that. That is a rebellion against truth. That is a rebellion against the God of truth. There is truth, and God has ordained truth in every aspect, from the physical to the spiritual realm. And there is an inescapable absolute law that is in operation. You many not believe it; that doesn’t change it.
If you’ll open your Bible to Galatians chapter 6, I want you to see how simply that law is laid out, verse 7. Galatians chapter 6, verse 7: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to how own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” The apostle Paul here declares something that is a self-evident truth. It is axiomatic, it is not arguable: what you sow, you reap. That’s simple and absolutely true.
