Bless the Lord at all times, let praise ring forth from our lips to our Mighty Savior and God,Jesus Christ!
Our first service went well,we had 11 in attendance, and the Holy Spirit anointing was there. Please, pray that we will be in the center of His will and way.Everyone is invited that would like to come.Service time is at 10:30 am,every Sunday, the address is 2639 Buxton Ct.,Morrow,Ga.30260.Casual dress is fine.God bless you.
Isaiah 6:1-13 is the vision the great prophet of the O.T. received from the Lord.He saw the LORD of Hosts! The God of the Armies of Israel.
Verse one reads,"In the year that king Uzziah died,I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up,and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2.) Above it stood seraphim;each one had six wings:with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3.) And one cried to another and said:'Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts;the whole earth is full of His glory!' " (NKJV)
I don't know of any greater vision the Lord could grant to someone, than to have a glimpse of the HIM sitting on His throne in all of His glory, high and lifted up.Isaiah was so consumed with what he had seen that he exclaimed,"Woe is me,for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Hosts." Let us never become so arrogant or haughty of spirit, that we think we are so good, that somehow we deserve God's goodness and kindness in our lives.I can only wish to be half the man of God that Isaiah was,yet he recognized his unworthiness when confronted with the purity and the Holiness of the Lord,Jesus Christ.Yes,that's right, this vision is a vision of the pre-incarnate Christ of glory.
This is a direct reference to the fact that the LORD (Jehovah) of Hosts is none other than Jesus Christ! Praise His holy name!the apostle John recorded in his gospel a direct correlation between Isaiah 6 and John 12:41. After the Lord Jesus Christ had done so many miracles and signs and wonders among His people, that would have proved to them He was their King and Sovereign, they still would not believe.Oh, the hardness of our hearts and slowness of our understanding,in grasping all that this could mean for us.Let us,as Isaiah did,be humbled and recognize our frailty and faultiness before the Lord, and pray and ask God to cleanse us and heal us from ALL unbelief, that we may be considered His children. The apostle gave testimony to the fact that the LORD of Hosts was among His people and they couldn't even "see" Him.Why? Because of the hardness of their hearts!
I think we sometimes lose sight of this.We sometimes forget that we are just the dust of the ground that God has given life to,and we become hardened with unbelief in all that Christ is.Let us be as Isaiah was and realize we are nothing when we compare ourselves to Christ, and if not for His mercy and grace in our lives we would get exactly what we deserve, eternal Hell and torment.
Allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart today and show you the things that He is displeased with, and then with humility, repent and ask Him to purge us and cleanse us.I know our sins, past, present and future, were all taken care of at the Cross. His blood still sets men free, but we must be willing on a continual daily basis,to confess to our Savior our sins and inability at times to live up to His righteous expectations.I John 1:8-10 says,"If we say that we have no sin,we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned,we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
May the God of glory and peace fill you today with a vision of His Holiness and Purity, and grant you the power to live daily for Him and His glory,Amen......God Bless you all.......Love,bro.John
