Once upon a time revival blessed the land; then the adversary and his demonic hordes developed a plan. They invaded the churches with, apostate preachers and teachers; with their demonic doctrines that hoisted up lofty human concepts; they in turn filled the churches with false prophets who led the people into carnal compromise and called it new age and modern theology. The people began tolerating things that please the flesh and pursued the wealth of the world instead the holiness of God. They forgot crucifying the flesh and picking up their crosses to follow Christ. They supposedly had new spiritual insight that released them from those Christ centered doctrines which turned the focus upon their own health, wealth, and worldly influence. The gospel of me, myself, and I was now established; God forbid they turn back to the narrow paths or the old ways! Yet what has it accomplished how many souls have they truly won? The mainline denominations are like Sodom and Gomorrah filled with hatred, lust, and contempt for the true word of God or the true children of God. At the entrance of sin there is darkness that follows overtaking the mind that alienates itself from the mind of God. But at the entrance of God’s true word there is light and the light is the life of man! Revival is needed in the land and that only comes through every individual’s personal repentance. Selah! Personally, I believe that one of the pivotal points in our walk with God is a few decades ago when Madeleine Murray O'Hare was bleating on about removing the reading of the Bible and community prayer from the schools. And it was only about a generation later that the hippie generation came along with their "sex, drugs and rock'n'roll" philosophy that also stripped a lot of faith from people. After all, if you could be "cool", why would you want to be a stuffy old Bible believer? ( said sarcastically of course ) And it's gone downhill from there. Each and every one of these little attacks didn't seem like much at the time but, in retrospect, they had huge impacts on our civilization.
Now the question - If we kicked God out of our society, why would He want to come back if we keep giving Him the boot all the time?
